About This Book

This book will introduce the reader to Māori Mystical Art through an ancient painted art form known as Kowhaiwhai through a series of art works called The Sacred Māori Scrolls by Tiki O’Brien.

Kowhaiwhai is a relatively unknown art form and is where Tiki derives his primary source of inspiration. Although Tiki is better known in the Māori Graphic design industry, he reveals the artist within through his extraordinary insights and experience in Māori mystical art.
