Welcome to the Toitu Kaupapa Maori Matauranga - Maori Education Trust website and online scholarship applications portal. In 1961 the Maori Education Foundation was established under the Maori Education Foundation Act 1961. Its basic objective was to encourage Maori into tertiary education and this was achieved through the payment of grants and scholarships.
